Quawn adds functionality!
As we prepare for the full launch of the new Quawn virtual community we are continuing to add more functionality to the web site in preparation for the rush of new residents following our September 14 launch. We will be able to tell and show you more of this brave new world in the weeks to come and we have made sure that we can do the same at quawn.com by adding a Quawn Graphics gallery function into the menu. It can be easily accessed from the left side menu and within the next week will start to show off our design work.
In addition we have added several useful features to bring ouside news and information to our users. There is now a Links page that will contain both important and fun places to go for our population. There is also a Newsfeeds section that is starting to contain the best and most relevant RSS feeds for our teen residents. Also there is a poll that will change regularly in order to best gauge the needs and taastes of our users.
Communication is the basis of any good community and that is exactly the strongest point of our site. We have made it easy to send any comments or information to us either by use of the Contact Us page or the Shoutbox on the front page. The Forums are also a point that we check regularly and where we can either give out information or receive it. Users can also communicate easily with each other by use of Personal Messages, the Chat Environment and our Skype feature that allows users to enter their Skype address and then their friends know when they are online.
All these communication methods will pale into insignificance on September 14 when Quawn opens as the newest virtual community on the web. Easily accessible from your web browser it is a virtual world where characters known as avatars can communicate with each other directly.
